Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm not sure what I will be blogging about but it could and likely will be cooking, maybe some ranting about something or other, and sometimes work related, which unfortunately won't be about cooking, but most likely will be part of the ranting :)
A little about me. I was born in Charlotte, lived in Florida for a few years and then moved to SC where I grew up in Summerville and graduated in 1984. I married later that same year, moved to Alabama for a couple of months and then Germany for three years, came home and divorced (practice marriage). I worked at the Omni Hotel at Charleston Place for several years and met the love of my life (Tom) while working there. We married in 1992 and had our first son in 1993 and our second in 1995. We left SC and moved to Rhode Island for six months and then to Virginia, which is where we have been since 1996.
In 1999 I started a web company and when Tom got out of the Navy he joined me in the business. We grew it and 20 years later, I'm still at it. Tom has since started another company and he runs that in Virginia Beach. That's a very brief account of my life - details to be filled in! Both of my boys are grown and local, which makes me VERY happy.
In 2016 I went to culinary school and received a Culinary Arts degree from CIV. Cooking and food is really my passion ... but I've got to do something to support that hobby! I've not yet figured out how to turn it into a business, but I'm having fun practicing in the meantime!
